Michigan State University Extension Child and Family Development team are located throughout the State of Michigan including Northwest Michigan and Manistee County.    The focus of the Child and Family Development team is to promote school readiness, build developmental assets and life skills and support lifelong learning.   The team works with adults (child care providers, parents, leaders/volunteers, families) and youth.  Members of the team provide early childhood trainings to parents and providers on a variety of topics including literacy, math, science, school readiness, positive discipline and many more.
