Great Start Readiness Programs are funded through the Manistee Intermediate School District with a grant from the Michigan Department of Education. 

Manistee County has Great Start Readiness Program at the following sites: 

Manistee Public Schools- Madison Elementary 

Kaleva Norman Dickson Schools - Brethren Elementary 

Bear Lake Public Schools- Bear Lake Elementary 

Little River Band of Ottawa Indians- Next Generation Learning Center
